Just a week ago, Apple was holding a special contest for iTunes download music service was getting close to the 10 billion downloads. The person that downloaded 10 billion song from iTunes was going to win a special $10,000 iTunes gift card.Hmm..,very interested and challenging.
Now, Apple has a winner. He is Louie Sulcer. Initially he wasn’t apparently that he entered the competition. And when Apple’s CEO called to congratulate him, he believed it was all just another prank call. Short stories, He called me and said, ‘This is Steve Jobs from Apple.’ I said, ‘Yeah right,’ Sulcer tells Rolling Stone. “I have a son that loves to play tricks and he does that every now and then – calls me and imitates somebody.” After three or four times of asking “Come on now, who is this,” Sulcer realized that his caller ID read simply “Apple,” and only then did he believe that he was the winner of the contest and a $10,000 iTunes card.
The purchase song as well as lucky song Johnny Cash’s “Guess Things Happen That Way” make a father of three and a grandfather of nine, was introduced to iTunes three years ago by an old friend at a high school reunion who taught him how to use the digital music service to load up on his favorite country songs of the 1960s.
Until now, Sulcer’s current have iTunes library almost 900 song. Beside iTunes gift cards, he also received iPod nano as a birthday present recently. Perhaps, this is something that is really desirable by some people, especially for lovers of Apple products.
