Intel plans reinforcement of  ultra low voltage generation of Arrandale CPU. Intel dont stop to produce very high processor to increase performance from CPU’s previously. Previously we can still see Core i5 520UM, Core i5 540UM as well as Core i7 620UM and Core i7 640UM. All still stay under 18w and Intel add new core i7 was called Core i7 660UM and will be lower end chip in core i7 family.

The newest CPU is  based on the 32nm Arrandale dual-core.It still 18W TDP and capable clock more faster than the current -6xxUM models at 1.33GHz. If needed, this CPU can overclocked to 2.4 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost and of course more than 18 W if you using this. But, this thing up to end user whether they uses it or not.

The graphics base frequency will be 166MHz, but it will jump to 500MHz when needed and DDR3 memory will work at 800MHz. This CPU also has  4MB of cache, running in Intel’s new BGA-1288 CPU socket.Fudzilla said that launch date  in Q3 2010 and set up to replace Core i7 640UM  as Intel’s top end of Ultra Thin performance market.Price of this CPU around  $350.
