Although the news was reported Microsoft has been hinting a Windows Mobile 6.6 at Mobile World Congress, Garmin Asus has started to accept customer pre-order in Taiwan for its new Garmin Asus M10. The Nuvifone M10 from Garmen -Asus confirmed using Windows Mobile 6.5.3 it’ll feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen.
Using 3.5 inch WVGA resolution touch screen made this M10 have same size like iPhone and Nexus One. For a camera, it’s got a 5-megapixel camera, and have 512 MB Ram and 512 MB storage data included microSD slot. a Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor made this smartphone more faster with clock speed 600 Mhz, built in WiFi, bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, HSDPA / WCDMA / 3G 900/2100；2G 900/1800/1900 and 1500 mAh battery.
It’s also Garmin-Asus also bundled Garmin GPS navigation software, a service to humanity provided by the US Air Force, requires no monthly fee.And I think this make interested many people because many mobile phone providers get away with charging $10 a month to their customers for the right to use their phone’s a GPS chip. And this mobile phone to be first provide free GPS software to buyers of their phone.
But, this phone just offered in Taiwan and will only include Taiwan street mapping software. Garmin-ASUS is now taking preorders for the device, and the price is set at 450 USD.
